First technique that I used when I was editing my film opening was cutting. I cut my rushes with the help of razor tool. I used this technique in order to change the duration of rushes to create the sequent raw of shots and to get rid of unnecessary parts.
Second technique I used in my editing was titling. I made titles in order to introduce my actors, the name of the film and people who took part in creating this film opening.
Also I used some video transmissions effects for my titles:
1. Cross Dissolve Effect. This allowed me to make the titles dissolve gradually and smoothly. I used it in order to make the film to look nicer and more attractive.
2. Iris Diamond Effect. It allowed my titles to appear nicely on the screen in the diamond shape.
3. Iris Round Effect. This helped me to make some of my titles to appear on the screen with a circular wipe.
All these screenshots are prooving that I personally worked on my project. I also have written a briefly explanation of why I used these editing techniques in my film.

The next editing technique I have used in my video was freezing effect. I used it in order to focus on actors when the titles of their names are appearing on the screen. This would help to focus the attention of people on main actors of the film.
